World Mental Health Day - Risk, Abuse & Violence (RAV) Workshop

Coinciding with world mental health day the Risk, Abuse & Violence (RAV) team are holding a half-day workshop highlighting the work undertaken by the mental health nursing team (and partners) at the University of Birmingham.  The workshop will be lead by Dr Chris Wagstaff and Dr Nutmeg Hallett and is for anyone who is interested in finding out more about mental health RAV research at the University of Birmingham.

WIN Annual Conference

WIN invites you to attend their 3rd annual conference on 24 January 2017, the aims of which are to:

  • showcase innovation and research in digital health, care and wellbeing
  • enable the sharing of good practice and experience from those working in this area
  • promote networking across various settings.

WIN is planning an interesting programme, with keynotes, thematic tracks and showcase sessions. All are welcome to attend,  but places are limited and priority will be given to WIN members. Further details will be added shortly, so please watch this space!

WMAHSN Mastercalss: Intellectual Property

This free-to-attend two hour session will aim to give NHS employees an overview of intellectual property, looking at the different forms of intellectual property, its protection, how it applies to your ideas and how MidTECH can help you take those ideas forward. The session will have interactive elements and include guest speakers who have worked with MidTECH in the past.
